The manufacturing sector plays a critical role in the economy of British Columbia. To help support and promote local manufacturers, BC Stats, in conjunction with the Ministry of Small Business, Technology and Economic Development, produces the British Columbia Manufacturers’ Directory. The BCMD lists more than 4800 companies and provides valuable information such as the manufactured products, export experience and countries exported to, employee size, manufacturing locations and more. THIS SITE IS DESIGNED TO ALLOW YOU TO:

Search the Database: filter the database with progressively complex search options and view the information up to 25 manufacturing companies a day.

Purchase the BCMD: available to you as either a bound book or a CSV file ready for mail merge. Visit the Great ways to Access to learn the differences between available formats.

Create a New Listing : are you a manufacturing company not yet listed in the BCMD? If some or all of your products are manufactured within British Columbia it is free to join.

Update Your Listing: keep your company profile up-to-date by updating your information online. Once reviewed by BC Stats, it will be published to the live site.
